I’m putting together a mix tape for the boy, one that will introduce him to the music I like, except most of the songs I want to include either send a sad message or are by bands I know he doesn’t like (Oasis, Hole, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam) or by bands he already loves (Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Muse). *headdesk*
Watch, I’m gonna end up adding a bunch of game music and he’s gonna think I’m a dumbass.

Raised slightly
I noticed something when I took the first picture: my height. Suddenly, it occurred to me that at 5”2, my perception is different from someone who is taller or shorter. What height, then, would make for a better picture? I’m sure that varies on the subject, so I took a second picture at the same spot with my camera raised. I think this will be an interesting thing to pay attention to in the future.

I were to continue with my mushy-songs-dedicated-to-the-Bruins theme, today’s song would have been Savage Garden’s “Crash and Burn” after our sad sad loss yesterday. But at least our offense scored a TD! -_-

I bring my camera with me everywhere, except when it’s out of batteries and I meet someone I want to take a picture of. That’s Tommy Wiseau, mastermind behind the once in a lifetime movie The Room. I have much more I need to say about the movie, but right now, I am still letting the experience sink it. Which reminds me of something—I need more plastic spoons!
